Arsenal are actively exploring the market for defensive reinforcements and have identified Aaron Wan-Bissaka as a potential target. The West Ham right-back has been included on a shortlist of 11 candidates as the club looks to strengthen their backline.
The 28-year-old is expected to be available following his club's relegation to the Championship. Mikel Arteta is reportedly a fan of the defender's elite one-on-one defensive capabilities, viewing him as a specialist option who could complement Jurrien Timber and provide cover against top-tier wingers.
This pursuit coincides with ongoing uncertainty regarding Ben White's future at the Emirates. The England international is reportedly considering his options, though his situation is complicated by significant fitness issues that saw him miss the Champions League final against PSG and cost him a spot in the World Cup squad.
Sporting director Andrea Berta is managing the recruitment process, which includes other targets such as Ezri Konsa, Jules Kounde, Oscar Mingueza, and Lutsharel Geertruida. Aside from Arsenal, Everton and Fenerbahce have also shown interest in the defender.
