Arsenal close to securing new contract for Martin Odegaard
The London club considers the Norwegian midfielder untouchable and is working on a new deal to secure his future.

Arsenal are nearing an agreement on a new contract for attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard. According to reports from insider Nicolo Schira, the London club views the Norwegian as a fundamental part of their project and considers him untouchable in the current market.
The 27-year-old has started the season in strong form, netting four goals in eight appearances across all competitions. His influence on the pitch has led the club to reject several formal approaches from both Saudi Pro League clubs and major European rivals.
Although his current deal runs until the summer of 2028, Arsenal are keen to formalize his status at the club with improved terms. The midfielder is currently valued at 70 million euros by Transfermarkt.
