Arsenal agree deal to sign Ezri Konsa for £50m

Arsenal have reached an agreement with Aston Villa for the transfer of defender Ezri Konsa. According to The Athletic, the fee for the transfer is set at £50 million, excluding performance-related bonuses.

The English defender is expected to sign a long-term contract with the London club, with a medical examination scheduled to take place within the next 48 hours.

Arsenal’s coaching staff targeted Konsa specifically for his versatility, as he is capable of performing both in the center of defense and in other positions along the defensive line. During the previous campaign, the defender made 48 appearances across all competitions and played a key role in Aston Villa's Europa League triumph.
