Antoine Griezmann marked his Orlando City debut with a goal and an assist as he looks forward to a reunion with Lionel Messi in MLS.
Antoine Griezmann has made a stellar start to his time in the United States, putting in an impressive performance for Orlando City. In a friendly match at Inter&Co Stadium, the 35-year-old forward helped the side secure a 6-0 thrashing of the Tampa Bay Rowdies.
Starting the match under interim head coach Martin Perelman, Griezmann opened his account in the 32nd minute with a precise low drive. He further contributed to the attack in the 61st minute, providing a superb assist for Ivan Angulo's goal.

Ahead of the MLS season resumption, Griezmann expressed his excitement about the upcoming Florida derby against Inter Miami. The forward is particularly eager to compete against his former Barcelona team-mate Lionel Messi and Rodrigo De Paul.
Orlando City will now travel to face FC Dallas in another friendly next week to finalize preparations. The team will return to competitive action when the MLS regular season officially resumes with an away match against San Jose on July 22.
