Star left-back Andy Robertson is set to become a Tottenham player. The Scotsman has provided his verbal consent to the move, and the parties are reportedly close to finalizing the paperwork.
The transfer saga took a turn when Italian side Juventus attempted to hijack the deal at the last minute. However, the Italian giants were unsuccessful, as Robertson remained committed to his agreement with the London club.
This move is strongly supported by Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi, who views the defender as a perfect fit for his tactical system. The club's interest dates back to the January transfer window, when a potential deal previously collapsed.
