Andres Iniesta to begin managerial career in UAE

Legendary Spanish former footballer Andres Iniesta is set to embark on his managerial career. According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, the former Barcelona and Spain icon has agreed to take charge of Dubai-based club Gulf United.

This will be the first head coaching role for the legendary player. The deal is fully agreed upon, with official signatures expected to follow shortly.

Gulf United competes in the second division of the United Arab Emirates football league. The team is currently placed 10th in the table, having secured 25 points from 26 matches this season.

Prior to this move, Andres Iniesta served as the sporting director for the Morocco national team, but he has now opted to pursue a coaching path in Dubai.
