Former Real Madrid coach Alvaro Arbeloa is on the verge of being appointed as the new manager of Fulham. According to reports from The Athletic, the Spanish tactician has reached a full agreement with the London club regarding the terms of his employment.

Sources indicate that the parties have settled on a three-year contract. Final details are currently being ironed out, with an official signing expected to follow shortly.

Arbeloa moves to England after departing the Madrid setup at the end of last season, having led the team for a four-month spell. He is tasked with taking over from Marco Silva, who left the club to join Benfica. Fulham finished the previous Premier League campaign in 11th place.
