All 2026 World Cup Round of 16 pairings confirmed
Following the conclusion of the Round of 32, the matchups for the next stage of the World Cup are now set. The Round of 16 begins today, July 4.

The Round of 32 at the 2026 World Cup in Canada, Mexico, and the United States has officially concluded. Sixteen teams have been eliminated, including nations such as Germany, the Netherlands, Croatia, and Japan.
The remaining 16 teams have been paired for the next knockout stage:

Canada vs Morocco
July 5:
Paraguay vs France
Brazil vs Norway
July 6:
Mexico vs England
Portugal vs Spain
July 7:
USA vs Belgium
Argentina vs Egypt
Switzerland vs Colombia
The next round of the tournament kicks off today. It is worth noting that the 2026 tournament has already set a new record for anti-records in World Cup history.
