Alexander Isak returns to Liverpool with minor injury

Liverpool striker Alexander Isak has returned to his club from Sweden duty after picking up a minor injury. The 27-year-old will miss the remaining three matches of the current international break while he is assessed by the club's medical team.

Isak played the full 90 minutes and scored in Sweden's 2-1 Nations League victory over Romania on Friday.

The forward has enjoyed a strong start to the season, netting four goals in five Premier League matches. His debut campaign at Anfield last year, following a £125m move from Newcastle, was hampered by recurring fitness issues that restricted him to just 14 league appearances.
