Full-back Alan Mozo has joined Cruz Azul and begun training under the guidance of coach Joel Huiqui. The player successfully passed his medical examinations, confirming that he has overcome the physical issues that hampered him in recent months and is now fully fit for competition.
This Wednesday is set to be a pivotal day as Mozo officially signs his contract and is presented as the team's latest addition. With this move, Cruz Azul aims to bolster its squad and increase internal competition on the right flank for the remainder of the tournament.
Mozo is already working with the main group, and signs point toward him being available for Sunday's match against Santos. This could mark his first appearance for La Máquina since his arrival from Pachuca.
The defender joins the squad after featuring in the first four matches of the 2026 Apertura with Pachuca. While he started the first three games, his playing time decreased significantly, and he was left out of the squad for the final game prior to this transfer.
