Genoa defender Alan Matturro could be set for a move during the current summer transfer window. According to insider Nicolo Schira, the 21-year-old Uruguayan is no longer part of the manager's plans for the upcoming campaign.
Reports previously suggested that Shakhtar Donetsk held a strong interest in the player. Their previous attempts to secure his services were unsuccessful, largely due to resistance from the coaching staff in Genoa at the time.
During the last campaign, Matturro gained experience on loan at Levante, making 21 appearances and contributing one goal and one assist. His change in status at his parent club may prompt the Ukrainian side to revisit their interest in the defender.
