Al-Khelaifi on Man City verdict: 'We are here to help each other'

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has responded to the news that Manchester City have been found guilty of numerous financial breaches by the Premier League. Speaking at the 33rd General Assembly of the European Club Association (ECA) in Copenhagen, he urged the football community to remain patient while the legal process reaches its conclusion.

Al-Khelaifi emphasized that neither he nor the organization are in a position to act as judges. He also praised Manchester City's chief executive, Ferran Soriano, noting his significant contributions to the ECA board and his extensive football experience.

By framing the verdict as a domestic English matter, Al-Khelaifi aims to maintain unity among Europe's elite clubs. Manchester City have already confirmed their intention to appeal the ruling, effectively putting any potential sanctions on hold for the time being.
