The 2025/26 UAE Cup winner has been crowned. In the final match held on May 22 at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain defeated Al Jazira with a convincing 4-1 scoreline.
Soufiane Rahimi was the standout performer, netting a brace. Further goals from Abdul Karim Traore and Erik Menezes sealed the victory for Al Ain, while Nabil Fekir scored the only goal for Al Jazira.
Al Jazira is currently managed by former Shakhtar Donetsk head coach Marino Pusic. Despite their path to the final, his side suffered a heavy defeat in the decisive match.
This win completes a domestic double for Al Ain, who had already secured the UAE League title earlier this season. En route to the final, Al Ain had overcome United FC 2-0 after extra time, while Al Jazira defeated Al Ahli Dubai 1-0 in their respective semi-final.
