Al-Ahli seal Abdullah Radif deal after Al-Ittihad withdrawal
Saudi club Al-Ahli have signed former Al-Hilal forward Abdullah Radif after neighbours Al-Ittihad pulled out of the deal.
Al-Ahli have officially completed the signing of former Al-Hilal striker Abdullah Radif. The 23-year-old has signed a four-year contract that keeps him at the club until 2030.
The move comes after a deal with rivals Al-Ittihad collapsed. Radif had previously agreed to a three-year contract worth 27 million riyals with the club, but Al-Ittihad were forced to withdraw due to a lack of financial liquidity.
Radif becomes the sixth summer signing for Al-Ahli, joining the likes of Aboubacar Sidy Kanté, Francisco Trincão, Eduard Spertsyan, and local talents Meshaal Al-Mutairi and Nayef Masoud.
At his new club, Radif is expected to provide depth as a third-choice striker. He will face competition for minutes from England's Ivan Toney, Firas Al-Buraikan, and Brazilian forward Ricardo Matias.
