Adidas launches iconic World Cup kits for retro Bringback collection

Ahead of the 2026 World Cup, Adidas has unveiled its new Bringback collection, celebrating football's golden eras. The release revives some of the most famous national team kits from the late 80s, 90s, and early 2000s, blending nostalgic aesthetics with modern apparel.

The collection features classic heritage jerseys alongside Adidas Originals lifestyle pieces. For select federations including Germany, Japan, and Spain, the brand has also introduced contemporary cropped jersey silhouettes, aiming to bridge the gap between football heritage and modern fashion.

The archive revival includes Belgium’s 1986 home shirt, worn during their historic semi-final run, and Germany’s 1990 and 1994 kits, which are celebrated for their bold geometric graphics and experimental designs. The release also honors Japan’s 1993 home jersey, featuring its unique asymmetrical graphic, as well as the 1994 kits for Spain and Sweden, both of which became iconic symbols of that decade's football culture.
