PSG defender Achraf Hakimi has officially become the most decorated African football player in history. The Moroccan international achieved the milestone following the club's victory in the 2025/26 Champions League final.
For the 26-year-old, this marks his third title in Europe's most prestigious club tournament. With a career total of 19 trophies, Hakimi has now overtaken legendary figures Yaya Toure and Samuel Eto'o, both of whom finished their careers with 18 titles each.
Hakimi's extensive trophy collection includes three Champions League titles, five Ligue 1 championships, a Serie A title, an Africa Cup of Nations win, the FIFA Club World Cup, and various domestic cups.
The record highlights an exceptionally successful 2025/26 campaign for PSG, as the Parisians secured back-to-back Champions League titles while also dominating the domestic circuit in France. Hakimi continues to solidify his reputation as one of the most successful players of his generation, maintaining high levels of performance across both club and international football.
