Abdelhamid Sabiri joins Turkish side Eyupspor
Moroccan midfielder Abdelhamid Sabiri has joined Turkish club Eyupspor on a free transfer following his departure from Fiorentina.
Turkish club Eyupspor have officially announced the signing of Moroccan midfielder Abdelhamid Sabiri. The player joins the squad as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Italian side Fiorentina on June 30.
While the terms of the agreement remain undisclosed, local media reports suggest a two-year deal with an option for a third season. Sabiri becomes the second Moroccan international to join the club, following the arrival of Jawad El Yamiq.
The 29-year-old is looking to revive his career after a difficult period. He spent last season on loan at Saudi club Al-Taawoun, where he struggled for opportunities, managing only 40 minutes of competitive action throughout the entire campaign.
Sabiri has accumulated experience across several leagues, including spells in Italy, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. He will now aim to rediscover his form in the Turkish Super Lig with Eyupspor.
